A crisis with your HVAC system can happen at any time. One of the key preventative measures to help sustain the life span of your equipment is a structured preventative maintenance programme. HVAC systems which are regularly maintained are more energy efficient and experience less technical faults compared to units without maintenance.

Another key advantage of an effective maintenance programme is that it allows the technicians to easily identify potential system failures ahead of time. While maintenance will not guarantee the prevention of equipment failures due to deterioration it will lengthen the time between failures.

Engineers who routinely work on customer’s equipment gain a keen understanding of the existing layouts and optimal operating conditions. The typical maintenance programs here at BACO is usually performed on a monthly, quarterly or semi annually basis.  Below are some of the services which are included in the Preventative Maintenance Programme:

  • Check system functions & safety controls
  • Adjust the operating sequence
  • Inspect electrical components & connections
  • Perform immediate repairs or replacement of components (if possible)
  • Ensure proper airflow
  • Inspect / Replace air filters.
  • Inspect & lubricate pumps
  • Clean & lubricate motors as necessary
  • Examine belts & perform adjustments as required
